No, throw teammate is a pass action and may only be taken once per turn!

Draco said it.. only one Pass action per team turn, therefore only one pass whatever type of pass it is (no you can't pass the ball either if throwing a team-mate).

Xtreme ... when the MBBL2 goes challenge league open sign-up you should join and play a team with some muscle (Ogre, Pixie, or Snotling).

The MBBL2 skill table has some extras on it ... one you might like:
Pitch Player (Strength SKILL) - This skill allows a player to throw an opponent using the Throw TeamMate rules. However you must first roll to see if you snag the player to throw him. Make a Strength roll (ie an Agility roll using Strength instead of Agility as the stat) with the following modifiers:
+1 for each offensive assist you have (ie Blocking offensive assists)
-1 for each defensive assist the opponent has (ie Blocking defensive assists)
-x where x is the ST of the opponent
-1 if opponent has Block and you don't have Block
-1 if opponent has Dodge and you don't have Tackle
-1 if opponent has Side Step
-1 if opponent has Foul Appearance
An unmodified 1 means that the player attempting the Pitch Player has been knocked down and this will count as a turnover. Any other failed roll means nothing happened. A success means that the player may throw the opponent using the Throw TeamMate rules however the Landing roll will be done with a -2 modifier regardless of the result of the Throw TeamMate pass. Players suffering casualties from a Pitch Player play count for casualty SPPs (this includes if you eat the opponent).
It still uses the team's pass action, but its a lot of fun and its automated in the PBeM already.

The MBBL2 currently has 2 players with Pitch Player as a skill:

Sir Cumam Bient from Playing the Odds:
Joker Ace Big Guy (Minotaur)
3/7/1/9
BIG GUY, Horns, Frenzy, Mighty Blow, Thick Skull, Throw TeamMate, Wild Animal, Always Hungry, Obese, Block, Pitch Player, Tackle
1 TD/ 11 CAS / 2 MVP / 35 SPP

and

Teakoak Ironwood from Furry Foots and Friends:
Treeman
2/6/1/10
BIG GUY, Mighty Blow, Stand Firm, Thick Skull, Take Root, Throw TeamMate, Block, Pitch Player
6 CAS / 1 MVP / 17 SPP

===============================================

A quick example ... Sir Cumam Bient declares a Pass and runs over to a Gutter Runner with a Storm Vermin protecting him.
Sir Cuman Bient's roll to throw the Gutter Runner is:
0+ (ST 7) and his roll will have a -2 modifier for the Gutter Runner's ST and a -1 modifier for the Storm Vermin. Since he has Tackle ... the Gutter Runner's Dodge doesn't matter.
So for the roll:
On a 1, he'll fail and fall down with AV roll against him
On a 2, he'll fail the pass and nothing will happen.
On a 3+, he'll be able to throw the Gutter Runner.

I'm probably remove the part about the Big Guy falling down for next season and just saying a 1 is always a failed attempt to throw since the Big Guy is giving up a Blitz most likely to use the skill.

Galak
