Piling On Question

Post by Tarkoon »

Hi, I have a question about the piling on rule.
for example:
I start my turn with a movement 6 orc blitzer and say i want to use my blitz.
An enemy player is near my blitzer, so I walk 1 Step, the second is for the block, I take him down and follow up and now i use my piling on skill and lay my blitzer down.
I have 4 points movement left, so my question is:

Can I use my left movement to stand up and walk after piling on, if I have enough movement left?

If you answer this, please say me the exact lines in the LRB or in an official FAQ or rules review and dont just say it's is allowed or it isn't!

I read the LRB exactly and it says, that piling on doesn't effect a turn over and I found nothing, that going down with my own player should end HIS turn. Just that it normally is a turn over, but this rule is taken out for piling on !!! So why shouldn't it be allowed to use my left movement?

Greets, Tarkoon
(sorry for my bad english, it's not my native language)

Hi Tarkoon,
on page 11, first paragraph, is written:
"...and may do nothing except stand up at a cost of three squares of his movement when he next takes an action."

The when is understood as indicating the beginning of his action.

Or, to put it in another way:
You pile on, and then reed the sentence. You don't get up until your next action.

I couldn't find a direct quote either, but the best I managed looking into old documents was a quote in old OBERWALDs confirmed correct by JJ saying.
Piling On is a lengthy and methodical process that ends the player's action. You may not, therefore Jump Up or spend 3 MA to stand up a player when he has used Pile On as part of his Blitz action. [JJ]
I hope that was enough
