new Wild Animal and following up

Post by Cerebus »

Do you have to roll a Wild Animal check to follow up on a block?

From the LRB following up is called "a special move" that you can take after you get certain results on the block dice, so I'm just wondering if this is considered an action or if it just happens.

Particularly important when you consider that both Wild Animals have Frenzy and thus will be following up a lot...

Following up is definitely not an action. For example: Blocking is an action, and a player may only take one action per team turn.

Agreed following up is part of a Block action as is the 2nd block from Frenzy. No 4+ roll required for any of that.
