Controlled push doesnt seem unbalanced at first sight, prolly need some playtesting, i just wonder if it s worth it . I mean do anyone will take it instead of guard or mighty blow for example ?
the skill is considered a block action so you can use : block, tackle, multiple block, piling on, dauntless, frenzy. But you can't use horn since it required a blitz action.

I made made controlled push to be able to to form cage more easily and too allow a second block. You could also split his defence more easily coupled with guard it is awesome

actualy it was my first idea a way to be able to blitz one more time, but there is no other skill that work that way (limiting to once per turn)...

that gave me a idea... scrap the -1 str for each two movement and add that you need to spend a reroll to make the block so that solve the issue of only once per turn and that balance the skill at the same time.
Pass Block.

Controled push.
You've got a skill that negates a skill and a trait.
If it just negated sidestep then ok.

We have 2 different skills.
Sideswipe which is like controled push, but you choose which direction you have blocked them from when determining pushback (so you can push them intot he crowd), and it mutually negates/is negated by Sidestep.
Push which push's 2 squares instead of one in a pushback, which mutually is negated by/negates Standfirm.

Bullrush, -1 ST for every 2 (or part there of) squares of movement.
Once only per team turn.
Pritty good... would need to be playtested for balence.

Attack of Opertunity.
Hmm, i don't know... it should be good... especially as only one person's trait would effect the armour roll, no matter how many guys with the trait are standing around... I see no opertunity to abuse, especially as the guy with this trait will be spending most of his game assisting others blocks.

I would give up on the bull rush thing. It's never going to be balanced enough.

If you're worried about giving strength teams something to counteract the agility teams dodging away and staying out of reach, create some sort of a complement skill to tackle.

How about

Grab (ST skill)
The player is allowed to grab a player leaving his tackle zone. The use of this skill must be decided before a dodge roll is made. The dodge roll is then made with a -2 penalty. If the dodge roll fails, the dodging player remains in the square where he started from, falls down and an AV roll is made for him. If the dodge succeeds, the grabbing player falls to the square the dodging player left from, and an AV roll is made for him.

A ST approach to diving tackle, and more risk for the person who executes it, which is fair as players using this are bound to have higher AV.

I like this grap skill. Together with prehinsile tail and tackle a real killer. But tentacles would be the better choice on a chaos player.

I like the sugestions of Alestair.

However for Bullrush you could balance it by saying that any pow or dodgepow should be considered as pushback and that the blocker must follow up.

This could allow a faster progression of a cage but will permit to knockdown opponents.

Keep out the good work, we need more skills in BB.
