Touchback. Like said its not possible to catch, as long as the ball is not in you half.

Another question about touchbacks a player in my league asked me. This players comes up witht he most bizare questions, but it's a nice excerise in BloodBowl theory.

What happens when a touch back is given but the coach has no players to give the ball to (only Chainsaw-guys, or Fanatics, or squigs are on the field)

Chainsaws would be no problem, cause the can carry the ball as long as the chainsaw is not running.

The other two no idea I think the coach could choose a place to put the ball to.

I'd say you can give the ball to the fanatic, but he will immediatly drop it and it will scatter from his square.
