wild animal rule

Post by heinz6 »

We've chosen to play with the old version of the WA-rule, as in our opinion the new version makes WA less fun to play - just another LOS-big guy and less usefull than say an ogre (+the horns of the minotaur are pretty damn useless on a reg. block).

Well - to my question: We allow a WA to stand up (not move) after a knock over without using a blitz action even when there are adjecant opponents. This to allow the coach a minimum of choise on how to use his blitz. Do you guys consider this to be against the "spirit" of the old WA-rule, or is it OK?

Pesonally - as relatively new to BB - I have a lot of fun with my Minotaur rampaging the field totally out of control :-)

You can stand up your WA without declaring a Blitz.
The old WA rule only applies when your WA is standing at the start of your team turn.
