Star Players for Amazons and Norse

What star players can the Amazons and Norse teams freeboot, if any? Are they the same as humans? I don't see (in the Living Rulebook ver 1.3) under the teams what star players are available and none of the star players have Amazon or Norse as teams they can play for.

Won't know until October, mate. If you think they need a leg up in your league, try one of the following:

1. 0-4 Catchers
2. An Ogre
3. A Kroxigor

Geez, not even Morg-ie? He'll play for just about anyone with money!

We're starting up our league again (been down for about a year and a half) and I've decided to try out Amazon.

They may not need big guys or a star player, but I will just have to play to find out. I would like to see a star player at the very least if not a Big Guy. Every team in 3rd edition had at least one star player available and although Star Players are freeboot only, it would be nice to see every team have them available again.

If Norse are 60k, humans are 50k

Well ... if you look at the Shadowforge line of miniatures, they do have the advantage of having the coolest mini's around ... they may even distract your opponent long enough for you ...

Yeah, I have the "Unsure Catcher"

I am debating whether to get the rest of the line from Shadowforge or to order the Amazons from GW....

Anyway I am 3-0 now and I think Amazons rock. I have yet to face either of the two Dwarf teams in my league (or Chaos Dwarf for that matter) so we shall see how they stand up to 5 or 6 guys on the field with tackle.

Depending on how the season goes... perhaps Amazons can do well enough without the big guys and star players.

Amazons...suck later in the season.

When every other team has their Tackle and Pile On and Mighty Blow and Dirty Player and whatever-all-else, having Dodge is nigh-worthless with AV7.

Sure, you may get quick Blodgers out the gate...that just makes you hard to knock down in the short term. But once the other teams start matching you for skills Amazons start going down hard.

Norse have it easier because there's no skill to negate Block...
