STATS=0?

Post by Kri »

What happens if a Treeman gets AG=0? Do you have to retire him, it stays at 1 or he can keep on playing with AG 0?

It was somewhere in Death Zone i think. If you roll something that gets you below 1 in any stat, your player is simply unaffected and remains at 1.

No, i believe this is in LRB cos we were playing like:
if a stat get to 0, then the player dies...i prefer this rile than he gets nothing.

Hmm... Certainly, no statistic can be increased or decreased by more than 2... So only players with ST or AG of 1 or 2 will be affected, and the Treeman, with his MA of 2.

It seems very harsh that a Treeman who is injured and loses his point of agility is dead, but that is what the rules seem to imply.

Letting him die is a bit to hard IMO. If you get AG-1 because of ageing it would mean he dies because of experience.

What do you think of never letting him roll an AG-Test any more, so no dodge, he will never get the ball ... If he has to make one he automatically fails.

i prefer death.
A stat=o means death to me...
What can do a treeman with Mouvement=0, or anything elese at 0....
Nothing, he is dead.(IMHO)

The official rule has always been that you ignore it and keep the stat as is. The rule dates back to 94 or 95, so what's the fuss?

Personally, I think a treeman with MV 0 isn't dead, he's just taken up (VERY) long term residence in the nearest wood. :lol:

But seriously, Iseem to remember seeing something about stats never going below 1, but I can't remember where.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
