Blood Lust - lose the action for the team?

Post by Podfrey »

Blood lust (p.34) states that:

"On a '1', however, the Vampire is overcome by the desire to drink Human blood and must carry out the following special Blood Lust action. The Vampire loses their declared action for the turn and must instead take a Move action." (emphasis is mine)

That means that if the Vampire declared a Blitz but rolled a '1' then THEY cannot make a Blitz. Does this mean that another member of the team can make a Blitz instead?

It's meant to mean that the declared action is wasted for the turn (in the same way as failing Bonehead on a Ogre Blitzing is), but I agree that it could be argued contary.

While we are talking Vamps, in a recent conversation with Lucifer another query came up regarding Vamps. The rules state that if a player begins the turn stunned then he unstuns at the end of the turn, but what if that said player is effectivley re stunned by a failed OFAB? Does he still unstun at the end of the turn?

Surely that's covered by the rules for being stunned in your own turn?

Not being a chump personally ;-) I decided to re-read the rules before posting. After spotting it I decided against opening my big mouth.
