some things the LRB isn´t very clear about

Post by sympatico »

1. Can a player assist a foul even if he is in an opposing players tackle zone? 2. When a player holding the ball is knocked down, does he drop the ball in the square he was in or the square he is pushed to? 3. When "both down" comes up, do the players fall in the squares they are in or are they both pushed back? 4. When a player on my team who is holding the ball falls down but isn´t injured and another player on my team catches the bouncing ball does it still count as a turnover?

1. No
2. The ball scatters from the square in which the player lands.
3. Players stay in their squares and are knocked down unless they have the 'Block' skill.
4. Your turn ends when a player of your team is knocked down.

spot on. all correct. and for number 4, yes it is a turnover. (just making that clear)

Point 4. Except if the player was thrown by a Throw Team Mate who fumbled passing the player or who did not land on an accurate/inaccurate pass. this being Goblins and Halflings. If the thrown player did not carry the ball, it is not a turnover. If he did, then it is a turnover. But that is I think the only exception. In all other cases, if your player falls down on your drive, no matter what happens to the ball, it's a turnover.
