Stunty Question

Post by matsu hantakage »

I'm confused by the following wording on Stunty:

Code: Select all

To represent these things a player with the Stunty skill may ignore any enemy tackle zones on the square he is moving to when he makes a Dodge roll (i.e., they always end up with a +1 Dodge roll modifier), but must subtract 1 from the roll when they pass
So lets say I have a Gobin (Ag 3) dodging into a square with 3 tackle Zone on it. He ignores the tackle zones and get +1 to his roll, so he dodges on a 3+.

I roll a 3 and pass, but now as I have passed, I must subtract 1 from the roll? Which would mean I fail.

So when dodging with Stunty do I basically ignore tackle zones, and also ignore the +1 Dodge modifier (as it will be cancelled)?

The Dodge modifier and the Passing Modifier are two seperate things.
So, you subtract 1 from the passing rolls that Stuntys make.

Stunties normally dodge on a 3+
They throw Quick Passes on a 4+, Short on a 5+, Long Passes on a 6 and Long Bombs on a 6. They also fumble more often as a consequence of the -1.

My bad - I read it wrong. I read it as they subtract 1 when they pass a dodge roll.
