I have got a ma 3 tree, when he got his 2nd skill i was tempted to give him piling on as he regularly takes roots on his first check. As i didnt know if he gets uprooted if he uses piling on i decided to give him guard.
Can a tree with piling on use this skill if he took roots, does the use of piling on uproot him? Anyone any experiences with that in table top or the jbb-client? I use the fumbbl ruleset so its lrb4 something....
Thx for your answers

Also note that if you knock down and push back you must follow up to be able to use piling on. If the treeman has taken root he will not be able to use piling on with Defender Down results (unless his opponent chooses to use Stand Firm).Mootaz wrote:Piling on places you prone, it does not knock you down which is required for unrooting. So Piling on does not help when rooted.
Even with Both Down it should not be permitted since the description of piling on requires him to have fallen on his opponent and then rolled back to his own square, whereas Take Root requires that he never left his original square.
