Follow up after block and blitz

Post by clouds »

Hey guy's

Something occured last game I played and my opponent and I weren't sure what to do.

Basically, my super DE blitzer with Str 4 dodged in an orc cage to blitz the ball carrier (a little suicidal, but hey, it worked  )

So the orc got nailed down. I roll the armor nothing happens.
Now the question. The ball scatered on one of the lineman on the opposite of the cage. Can I still follow the block before he makes his attempt to catch the ball to exerce a -1 modifier, or should Ive done it before the scatter.

And lets say that I would hit a guy in the middle of nowhere, and make a casualty or KO, can I decide to follow after this or should Ive followed before the armor roll...

Thanks

You must choose to use the free follow-up before the armour roll.

From the rulebook, page 10:
Follow Up Moves: A player who has made a block is allowed to
make a special follow up move and occupy a square vacated by
the player that they have pushed back. The player’s coach must
decide whether to follow up before any other dice rolls are made.
You only get to follow up or not before the ball bounces and then (if you blitzed) you can move again after the bouncing ball/pick up is resolved.
