Throw Team Mate and Pass Block

Don't know if I've asked this one before but can you use pass block when your opponent declares to throw a team mate to put a tackle zone on him and to give him the -1?
Or could you even move your pass blocker into (or near) the target square of the thrown player to give him the -1 for landing (hoping he won't hit you)?

TTM isn't considered throwing the ball (even if the Stunty has the ball) so Pass Block won't trigger.
