Xynox: After reading all the rules again until i got dizzy i think its right to assume that they want an armour roll after a failed GFI.
This because i read the rules about "a player being knocked down should be placed with his face up on the field where they fell over" and think that they in that one place (GFI) called it fall prone.
But i still don´t think the rules are very obvious (especially since i didn´t even consider an armour roll before now), and they really need to be clarified and more specified in what they are meaning.

Asmodan,
We absolutely agree: they need to use consistent verbage (and not just in regards to Knocked Over). It is indeed NOT clear that you must make an Armor roll on a failed GFI.
Unfortunately, this is Blood Bowl we are discussing, and the current rules are simply VERY lazy when it comes to identifying technical terms and using them consistently. Because of this, you should always assume they are using terms interchangably UNLESS they specifically indicate otherwise. This is exactly the same reason why it is still a question as to if Stand Firm works when another player is pushed into you, not to mention a handful of other questionable rulings.
I am a recovering rules lawyer, so never take anything I say personally.

Well it does say "The player does not suffer from pushbacks as a result of a block", it doesn't say HE has to be the target of the block, just the result of a block (IE, being pushed into)This is exactly the same reason why it is still a question as to if Stand Firm works when another player is pushed into you
