Pushing back multiple players

Post by Marco Gianni »

Hi,

The question is rather simple adn, till 10mn ago, I honnestly thought that ther was no doubt about that but... So :

Is it possible to push, in second position, a player who's on the ground (prone or stunned) when there's no empty square for the defender ? (push push)

I hope it's clear... :-?

Thks for the answers ;)

If I'm understanding correctly then, Yes.

The only thing that stops additional pushes is Stand Firm.

Well, some guy from GW HQ says that you can't push a player which is on the ground...

:?:

That seems weird, but I just wanted to make sure that was a mistake.

And since when did the guys at GW HQ know the rules for any game other than 40K, WFB and LotR?
I'm honestly surprised he'd heard of Blood Bowl.

(2nd line is sarcastic, first line is not.)

Yep, the GW don't know what he's talking about. Prone and stunned players can be pushed just like standing ones.

If a ball is in a sq though, for all intents and purposes it is empty when pushing back players.

No answer from me, but from p. 23 of the LRB 5:

6. Only Extraordinary skills work when a player is Prone or Stunned.

Thick Skull is the exception to that, but it says so in the skill description.

Yeah, you can always push back prone and/or stunned players, unless they are Space Marines. That must have been where the GW guy got confused.

But they never get prone or stunned anyways so there should be no confusion...

Actually, that's only if THEY use Wrestle.
It just wouldn't be GW if it was the over way round...
