Choosing not to use kick

We have some disagreement in our league about being able to choose NOT to use kick once you see where the ball is going. I don't see any reason why you should not be able to do so.

To the letter of the rules i think you can, becuase you can choose to use skills after rolling the dice iirc, cba to look it up right now though.
