Can dodge skill be used to re-roll break tackle?

Sure. You are making a dodge, you are just using STR instead of AG to resolve it.

but surely you decide if you want to use BT after the dice is rolled. so if you dice is high enough for BT to suceed, then you dont need a RR? and if its not high enough, then use Dodge to reroll.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

ofc: if your roll is too low for the dodge to succeed even with BT, you just use dodge to reroll instead (BT can be used only once per turn, so no point in wasting it on a roll that would fail anyway)

Thanks. Didn't realise that you choose to use break tackle after the dice is rolled. I always presumed that you declared using the skill before the roll.

Think is is on page 7 under the skills section

one of the listed rules there states any skill can be chosen after the dice roll has been seen

And it's been this way since 3rd ed.

Note that even if you had declared to use BT before the dodge roll (which you can do, even tho you do not have to until after the roll)...it would not be wasted, as when you used dodge to RR the roll, BT would be active for that roll as well

(I guess if you rolled a 6 on the RR, then the use of BT would have been wasted..)

not really as skills are only assumed to be used if you needed to use them

as you rolled a 6 and didn't need break tackle you can use it for another dodge in the turn if you needed it

even if you had declared it (unless you are playing in a really unfriendly league, though why would you be saying you are using it before you rolled anyway)
