had a game using kick off return for the first time. but there were a few scenarios during kick off rolls, that made us unsure as to.what to do.
scene one. ball goes up and the kicking teams rolls a blitz action. he is able to get a catcher under the ball. catches the ball. end of blitz. now I'm in 3sqs with kick off return skill. can I still move towards him as part my movement putting me in his tackle and blocking position, before the start of my turn?
scene two. ball is a high kick. can I move one piece under the ball to attempt to catch. and another player with.kick off return to move closer to the ball carrier, if it is caught?
your thoughts...

Re: kick off return question
1. No (move between scatter and kick off table) and you can't enter the other half of the field with KOR....
2. No.... High Kick says "one player"....
Edited to correct #1 answer and add parenthetical explanation....

1. No, you missed your chance:
2. Yes, but remember only one player can use KOR.CRP wrote:It allows the player to move up to 3 squares after the ball has
been scattered but before rolling on the Kick-Off table.

1. so the game steps were played out wrong. ball in air.I move player under it first. then the blitz action takes place. the ball hasn't landed right? so he can blitz that player and can attempt to catch it after the blitz?Darkson wrote:1. Re: kick off return question
1. Correct. You should have rolled to scatter, then used KOR, then rolled on the KO table, which would have been a Blitz.
2. Yep. Again, roll scatter, use KOR, then roll High Kick (which could only be used if someone [in this case the KOR player]) isn't already under the ball.

The C.R.A.P. wank'r rules agree with the LRB6.0 on this one... so you're in the clear....
