I have the box set and did not see anything there. other second ed material I should look at?

what ever gave you guys the remote idea that slann look like toads? The bad pile of goo from 5th ed warhammer?
look at the old Slann Models

They are frog like if you take the 2nd edition images from the Star Players book. The toad look from RJ was cool and works on a conceptual level. Impact! tried to capture this look with our Calasain figures and your result will vary on that depending on who you ask.

So toad .... not so much ... more a mix of frog and alien.

Yeah, the Star Player supplement has them visually resembling frogs, and also has a number of puns and jokes along those lines ("Croakers," prehensile tongues).

I really like that there are four very nice slann teams available, allowing you to field frogs, aliens, or in-between.

They are definitely NOT lizards and never have been.

1st edition Blood Bowl Slann looked like Frogs as well. Don't have a picture of the 1st edition Blood Bowl counters to show you.

The team names Lustrian Croakers and sponser Croaka-Cola are your other indications. 2nd edition the Blitzer came with Heroic Leap (which was your other indication that they are frogs).

They are definitely NOT lizards and never have been.

Slann Physique : Slann are frog-like amphibians. Their bodies are thin,their limbs ;long and their hands and feet large and webbed. Their heads are flat and broad, with eyes that rise prominently like those of frogs or toads. Skin colouring varies from green to blue, and some slann are yellow.

I was talking about the picture, not about the slann...

I know that slann are frogs. I never saw a lizard jump around.
