Diving Tackle

Post by Ferne »

Hi

Could anyone tell me about DT:
If i dodge from one TZ to another of the same player who declares a diving tackle. Do i still get -1 for dodging in to a TZ, and therefore a -3 dodge, or does he loose his TZ's by using DT and being placed prone?

-3

Hes still upright when you make the dodge. therfore -1

Diving Tackle is applied AFTER the roll, so an additional -2 can be applied

Wouldn't advice using diving tackle if the dodger rolled a 6 though.

Thx m8

Is it common knowledge that you apply the DT skill AFTER the dodge has been rolled for? I find the skill description not exactly clear on that point. I wouldnt mind though, having just started a slann-team, but i might have trouble convincing my opponents...

Huh?
Page 23: You can choose to use a skill that affects a dice roll after rolling the dice (e.g., Diving Tackle does not need to be used until after seeing the result of the Dodge roll).
Page 4: Once the dodge is resolved but before any armour roll for the opponent (if needed), the Diving Tackle Player is
Placed Prone in the square vacated by the dodging player
Bolding mine.

How is the above not clear?

You know I said that flippantly a while back ... never thought it would become the new BB mantra. Not upset by that ... just funny that a single sarcasm loaded comment stuck like it did.

If they use a reroll the -2 still applies right?
