Ball and Chain and tackle zones

A two parter for all ball and chain players:

1) do they have tackle zones

2) can they give assists?

there is nothing saying they don't or they can't from what I can recall in the rules

is what i thought, but i just wanted to make sure - i seem to recall that under an older system, they didnt give tacklezones.

and of course, they can take guard, which would be stupid without the assists.

well they could take sure hands on a double so that doesn't prove anything ;]

So they can automatically fail a pick-up twice instead of only once.
