If I roll a 1, and the 'saw kicks back on the user, i rolls armour for him.
Taking the goblin as an example, he strides forward and eats his own 'saw. then my opponent rolls a 4. 4+3 (chainsaw bonuns) does not break armour. am I right in saying that nothing happens to the hapless goblin? and that no turnover is caused?

Re: Chainsaw Fail
so if the armour is not cracked the gobbo is not even knocked down. and its the knock down that causes turn over. so in your example, the gobbo stays standing and you may carry on with your turn.CRP pg 64 wrote:...On a roll of 2 or more the chainsaw hits the opposing player, but on a roll of 1 it ‘kicks back’ and hits the wielder instead! Make an Armour roll for the player hit by the chainsaw, adding 3 to the score. If the roll beats the victim’s Armour value then the victim is Knocked Down and injured – roll on the Injury table. If the roll fails to beat the victim’s Armour value then the attack has no effect.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.

Re: Chainsaw Fail
Wow. I really thought that kickback had been turned into a knockdown in LRB6.
Guess that makes AV9 chainsaw players even better.
