Are flesh golems 100 or110

Post by fire olli »

I have a set of rules that say they are 110,000, but i have 2 different excel sheets that tell me that they could be 100,000.

Which is right?

LRB6/CRP, the most recent rules, says 110,000.

Yup 110,000. Just checked the rulebook :) though on pitch they don't feel like they are worth it.

I think it's because they're easily out-numbered on the LOS and then flattened. Orcs, Chaos, Undead, Lizardmen, Pact, Khemri... hell, Orgres, Goblins and Halflings... can all completely nullify Flesh Golems without really trying. ST3 teams can overcome them fairly simply, too, making 110k just too ineffective and expensive for my liking.

Put them in the wide zones (backed up by wights/ghouls/weres) and use zombies on the LOS

I still feel that they get swamped. Most teams with str 4 guys have four, and his impact on the pitch isn't great. Playing a couple games he just got stuck next to a undying chump.

I agree with Buggrit. The LOS is for Zombies. The Golems work well, especially as a pair, when pushing down one side of the field.

Have a look at Digger's Necro Tacticum if you are interested in starting out with the Necromantic Team.
