Discuss Fantasy football-style board games - GW's Blood Bowl, Impact!'s Elfball, Privateer Press' Grind, Heresy's Deathball, etc. THIS IS NOT AN NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE!
Don't understand a particular rule or just need to clarify something? This is the forum for you. With 2 of the BBRC members and the main LRB5/6 writer present at TFF, you're bound to get as good an answer as possible.
I see value in 1 particularly as to get the Clmbpo monsters that so upset people you need 31spps but to get AV9 you just need to play Orcs (if you want mv5-6) or Dwarves (if mv4 don't bother you as much as access to Block and tackle out of the box)
Enjoy

If you cannot stall out for an 8 turn drive to score with dwarves then you need to go and play canasta with your dad..if you can find him.

Aw you spoil all my fun

AV9 actually would be a little overpowered (esp. in long term leagues) if it wasn't for Claw. In fact that's the only reason for me to start a Chaos team, just to see the faces of all those Orc and Dwarf coaches when their players get carried off the pitch left and right.
AV9 = 1:6 to break armour (10+)
Injury = 1:6 to get them hurt (10+)
My maths is crap, as I mainly study history but if I'm correct that's a 1:36 chance!
And MB, PO and Claw all help.
I would be worried about Dark and High Elf teams choosing armour over move. You end up with a fairly fast paced AV9 team... now that will be a poser.

The Scrumpers (Wood Elf)
Gitmo (Chaos Dwarves)
Sheik Ya Bouti (Khemri)
Fast and Furry (Skaven)
The Disposables (Halflings)
Young Mutants Chaos Association (Chaos)

KO's help you too (though there is no SPP in it) so that helps
