Could you reroll the old Thick Skull?
My league still has the old 4+ Thick Skull roll in effect (because its interaction with a certain house rule works better than the new one).
If you were knocked out during your turn, were you allowed to reroll the Thick Skull try? If so, I guess Pro would also work?

We treated it as a passive skill like regeneration since it was an ability rather than a taken skill so you couldn’t re-roll it.
Not sure if I ever saw an official ruling on it.

Back then Regen was rolled at the end of drive - that's why it couldn't be rerolled.
So, IMO, yeah, you could reroll it on your turn.
Or do like myself and have some Longbeards with pro to make them even 'arder

No reroll imo. Knockdown = turnover = not your turn = no reroll.
Pro would confuse things though, but you should have to be conscious to use it!

I remember allowing it in 3 different leagues, you can reroll AV and Injury now so why not?

Aliboon:
a) Pro works on both your turn and your opponents turn. So you could get knocked down on his turn and use pro on thick skull.
b) AFAIK the turnover does not occur intul everything is resolved. I believe we have FAQs to that effect. For example if you blow a pick-up (turnover) and the ball bounces to one of your guys, he could use a team reroll to catch it. It would still be a turnover though.
So Pro could be used even after you got yourself knocked down.
Cheers

Well I think you could technically use pro (but don't agree that you should be able to), but not a team reroll.
When the ball is still bouncing around, it is still your turn until it comes to a rest. I don't think that is the case with just a knockdown.
