STAB and Blitzing with Assassins

You're keeping your Dark Elves together better than my Orc's I played my second game, and will play my third game with only eleven players. 1st game I had a Black Orc killed, 2nd game I had a lineman injured (lost both games 1-0) but I was able to buy back the Black Orc for the third game.

Hopefully by game four I will have a reasonable roster.

Almost wish I had taken Dark Elves now, but then I probably wouldn't have any players left by now.

Well Jim, the division is over and I came top. Unbeaten with 7 wins and 3 draws.....considering the bash, I am very happy with that. Been a fun team to play. I know this is in rules queries, but others asking a page back about Guard....well I rolled 5 Doubles this year......

I did purchase an assassin, about game 7 I think but I only have 3 blitzers. The link above doesnt show that I had 3 dead players in the season, if not 4, and one of them was a lino with guard. Due to the deaths I needed to keep replacing linemen so I only just managed to buy that 3rd rr at the end of the last game.

In the original post I was asking about the blitz with the assassin but truth is that I found I need to use the witches most of the time so the assassin was just a threat more than anything else.

Looks a great team, I like the idea of an agility 5 runner. But as you say, the trick is to keep them alive and on the pitch.
