If the right stuff player had the ball ....
After he lands in and empty square roll his armor/injury
THEN scatter the ball
Turnover

If he was NOT holding the ball and failed to land (hit another player or failed his landing roll) it is NOT a turnover regardless of the Armor/injury result
Second sentence needs an addition: If the thrown player hits a player on his own team then it is a turnover according to the standard turnover rules on p. 7.

The thrown player, however, can only cause a turnover if he's holding the ball.

Aw, it would be much cooler if he could take out an entire cage with one TTM. :(

I can just imagine Ogres playing a great game of skittles using snotlings to knock over a dwarf cage.

Did that once with a Fling against Necro. Flung him from the Halfway line towards a Wight with the ball and his cage. Took out a Werewolf, Ghoul, teammate Halfling and then scattered over another prone teammate and off the pitch, KO'ing himself.

Then we re-checked the rules. Taking out the werewolf and then taking ages to scatter off the pitch was a far less exciting outcome.

Hey so rather than start a new thread i thought id just ask here. I had a few questions about leap, as we have a wood elf team in the league and none of us have played with leap before. So first question, can he leap over a playr at any time? Or does he have to be on the ground? I suppose an easier way to say it would be, can you leap over a player that is standing up? Second question, with the ag roll to make the leap, it says that it is unmodified. Does that mean you can leap into as many tackle zones as you like and its still just a 3 up for the wardancer? Thats how we thought it was but could be wrong. Thanks guys!

Leap ignores TZs and can be over any player... yeah, over a standing tree too.

Leap is awesome... especially if you get AG5, one can dream.

I just remember this blitz I had against orcs I think. Wardancers go... leap stand next to thrower, Wardancer blitz, pow thrower after leaping over the line. Catcher with leap... go and stand where the ball will be. Caught ball hahahahaha.

Yeah leap is fun. More funnier if the coach ignores the skill and then plays it now and then.

What you have me pinned with tackle and the Wardancer has a 3+,3+,2+ to get by...No, it's a 3+ leap then a 2+ dodge. Or if you're lucky a 3+ leap to safety.

Leap... brilliant!

I played a practice game with slann yesterday. Leaping is awesome! :D

Sorry to dredge up this thread AGAIN but i just had a few more questions that i need resolved :)

1. Stunty. Dodging into tacklezones. 3+ or 4+?

2. Can you leap diagonally?

3. If a minotaur (or other player with frenzy/horns) blitzs, and gets a push back, does the +1 st still apply for that block?

Thanks heaps guys!

1. Stunty ignores TZs, all of them, so no -1 for one TZ, -2 for two TZs, etc. If AG 3, roll 3+ (4+ as per AG table, but everyone has a +1 for dodges, so 3 will become the necessary 4).

2. Yes, S is start, D is any valid destination, - is not valid.

Code: Select all

-------
-DDDDD-
-DDDDD-
-DDSDD-
-DDDDD-
-DDDDD-
-------
Or in text: you are in the center of a 5*5 square, you can leap to any of the other 24 squares.

3. Yes, the Horns section says "block(s)", no just "block".
