Discuss Fantasy football-style board games - GW's Blood Bowl, Impact!'s Elfball, Privateer Press' Grind, Heresy's Deathball, etc. THIS IS NOT AN NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE!
Don't understand a particular rule or just need to clarify something? This is the forum for you. With 2 of the BBRC members and the main LRB5/6 writer present at TFF, you're bound to get as good an answer as possible.
We started our league reading the the apoth allowed a re-roll on the injury table, rather than a 2+ place on the field prone. We were about halfway through the league until I noticed we were playing wrong, so we stuck with it till the league finale.
It was funny when your BH player was killed by the apoth though

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
Then another point is, does that first square (the last square the ball went through before going off the sideline) count when determing how far the ball goes; the rules read you count from that square; is it number one or number zero?
Everybody here plays it's number one, but I think it should be zero...

We have that same problem, however it's never appeared very important as of yet, so if i'm the on scattering it fro the crowd i count the first square as one and the other person does as he pleases, it rarely goes of the pitch in my games though!
We've had the same discussion for our league rules/clarifications...and we decided that when you look at the sideline template, the ball is placed on the starting square, then moved from that point by the distance rolled...so we count that square as "zero".
I'm not sure if this is correct or not, but it was a big enough arguing point to decide on some consistancy.

The end-zone “line of death” does not discriminate when one tempts fate by using a “go for it” to pass over it.
