Potential stupid question here...
I would like a clarification on if you can use the throw-in template diagonally when determining where a Goblin Fanatic moves. In other words, can you place the 3,4 arrow on a diagonal square. I had always ruled that you could, but apparently this is not a universal interpretation as seen in this NAF thread:

Diagonally movement is not LRB legal. Several leagues like the MBBL2 house rule it to allow diagonal ... but ordinal directions (NSEW) only are the official rules.darthnoir wrote:Potential stupid question here...

There are 3 .pdf files on bloodbowl.com resources section I like to see integrated into an updated LRB version:
sheet2002pdf.pdf = former Death Zone Reference Sheet. The "Blue" Reference Cards should also be updated and integrated into the LRB.pdf the cards released with the boxed game are faulty as well. (landing roll)
BB2003booklet.pdf = A standard for Tournament Rules. I think this is extremely important for the Game, since it was announced that it's future is Tournament play. Would fit nicely in the section with tips on how to organize tournaments.
StarPlayers.pdf = some nice artwork, and get rid of the 4 cards of the boxed game alltogether on any future release plz.

Wheen did I miss this memo?Toby wrote:BB2003booklet.pdf = A standard for Tournament Rules. I think this is extremely important for the Game, since it was announced that it's future is Tournament play.

I know they want more tournaments, but I thought it's future was in keeping the leagues going?

If I'm not mistaken that was the ruleset for the Blood Bowl 2003 tournament earlier this year, so it's not some sort of an official memo, just a ruleset for a single tournament.

Not sure if it's already on the list, or if I missed the official answer somewhere, but state once and for all, what cas. count towards the FF roll (ie. Blocks only, or blocks, fouls, failed dodges, failed gfi etc)

oh yeah...i think there needs to be a rules section explicitly detailing exactly what happens when a thrown player (as in ttm skill) lands in a square already occupied by a player from either team.

HUH? Its very clear in the rule book ... the player that gets landed on is pushed using the D8 scatter template (standard pushback chain rules apply from there). Player thrown lands in that square. Place both prone. Roll for AV and Inj for both.wesleytj wrote:oh yeah...i think there needs to be a rules section explicitly detailing exactly what happens when a thrown player (as in ttm skill) lands in a square already occupied by a player from either team.
What part of this isn't clear in the LRB? I'm not being sarcastic either ... I've played Flings for so long it may be a case of me just not understanding how the rules confuse someone else.

i don't like it though, incidentally...shouldn't be auto-knockdown for the guy who gets landed on. that makes that a semi-useable defensive strategy, and all the skills the player being hit has are irellevant.

yeah i guess...still don't think it should be auto-knockdown tho
but tbh i don't really care THAT much either way so whatever.
