I always just see this kind of result in my mind like several American Football plays I have seen where the intended receiver tips the ball up and another receiver on the team catches the ball. The quarterback did everything right but the receiver decided to use his shoulderpad instead of his hands. The quesrterback gets credit for the completion just as he would for the interception if an opposing player caught the ball in that scenario. OF course, I also have leanred that real life and BB rules don't have anything to do with each other.
