what the hell happens?!
I know this one. WA only requires you to block if you can. Since the WA cannot block, he can act as if no one is adjacent to him.

Although I agree with your interpretation that isn't what the rules actually say. They say you must take a block or blitz action if you are standing next to an opponent.

You can make a good case for saying that the RO can't take any other sort of action and a Block action just does nothing.

I'm late at reading your list, boy what a work you had! I'll read it and come with remarks as I go along it. Because I'm late I might ask something that has allready been discussed. I apologize (difficult word) for that!
First remark 3.1 Extra Arms. I would allow to take the +1 on interceptions as well. If you can use the catch skill on an interception, so should you be able to use this skill. It makes more sense, either both or none. Otherwise you would be making exceptions again and that is difficult in rules. IMO that is. :smoking:

In general. I know writing rules is a hell of a job. Sometimes I translate them and it's not easy.
You or GW made the LRB in adobe. You they could use an index with hyperlinks to the sections/chapters concerned. Makes it more easy to get in the text where you want to be. Works well with the 18xx games I translate in Dutch, maybe an option for you.
Might be something for the forum as well. Complementary to the search engine, a list of topics and a hyperlink to the topics discussed. That way you get discussions arranged and easier to find.
For example. If I type Dark Elf in the search engine I get every query with Dark Elf in it, even if it's just general chat. :smoking:

Point 14 FF 1 and 6. I'd vote for the modified version. If you've done nothing in a match and lost, you shouldn't be rewarded with extra fans on a dice roll. A modified 1 loses a FF and a modified 6 wins a FF. :smoking:

Allowing players to field less than 11 players allows teams to protect their one turn scorers from harm. Should the rule be changed to fielding either 11 players or as many as are available to play
Absolutly. What about those poor WE WD you so desperatly want to finish of! (Or my DE WE as a matter of fact)

The the turnover list on page 8 should be updated to include ALL turnover events. Any Fumbled Throw-Mate Pass, Eating your teammate, Thrown players with the ball failing the landing, Being ejected for a foul, etc. A comprehensive list on page 8 (even if it said refer to the Advanced rules) would be a GREAT help to the game.
And don't forget fumbling a normal pass itself!

Lose the description of a hand-off as a "Short Pass", and later reworded the "counts as an Accurate Pass". There has to be a better ways to phrase this that don't lead to the multitude of rules questions this causes.
Maybe change to: A player from the moving side who is standing adjacent to a teammate holding the ball can receive a hand off. Treat the catch roll as if he were receiving an accurate pass. This action is allowed to one player only per team turn. (Note that since the player who held the ball does not make a passing action he therefor does not receive a SPP for making a completion) :smoking:

"A player who makes an accurate pass that when the ball comes to rest is in the possession of another player from his team earns 1 Star Player point."
Emphasize the accurate bit. Otherwise you'll end up with a discussion that any pass that is caught by the moving teams counts as completion! :smoking:

Do tackle zones or foul appearance effect a Hail Mary Pass roll
I suggest yes otherwise fumbling a hail mary pass only occurs 1 in 6. Most of the time the thrower will have a pass skill as well so with a RR that makes it 1 in 36. :smoking:

What happens if you can only field 1 or 2 players for a drive (ie less than the required 3 on the LOS as stated on page 7 of the LRB)
Play on I'd say. It's what the crowd is paying for! :smoking:
