Either or.

In a turnover situation the turn doesn't end immediately either, just the action does. Then you resolve armor rolls, bouncing balls, etc. Then the turn ends.

It should be noted as well ... I also believe that successful Tentacles would not allow a Vampire to bite a Thrall and thus force him to leave the pitch. The logic is exactly the same as the logic I just stated above for Hypnotic Gaze.

If the Vampire can't move, it can't Gaze?
Do I have to roll a dodge to gaze, if adjacent to an opposing player that's not the target of the gaze?

(most importantly) Can I: 1. roll bloodlust when activating the vampire.
2. gaze the BON without moving.
3. feed(or not) on thralls.
4.move other players away from the BON without tentacles rolls if the gaze was successful.

Sorry if the questions seem redundant but I'm playing a Vampire team and I'd appreciate some clarification.
Apparently, my reading/understanding of the rule was inaccurate.
It reads to me as though the gaze happens after the move is over. Tentacles just ends the move sooner.

But I understand your logic. Tentacles cancels the move.
The vampire still has to bite an adjacent thrall though, right?
Or is it a turnover the moment you fail that Tentacle roll if you failed the bloodlust roll?

2) I try to move away but I'm tentacled => ends the move
3) can I still block the tentacle guy or did the tentacle actually KILLED my action.

The Bite is NOT mandatory. You are not forced to bite ... you either must bite or leave the pitch. NOTHING in the Blood Lust text says you MUST bite ... so there is no way to say it is mandatory.

Yes.

Actually read Blood Lust again ... you must bite BEFORE your action fully ends (its says this twice in the skill description) .... if your action has ended you cannot bite. Otherwise if I failed a pick-up roll ... I could still bite to stay on the pitch ... and you cannot do this. Tentacles ends the Vampire's turn just as badly as failing a pick-up roll would.

Not totally true. The Vampire could Gaze someone next to him without moving and that would be fine. However if he tries to move and is held firm by Tentacles than he cannot Gaze as his action has ended.

Correct ... if you failed a Blood Lust roll and then fail a Tentacles roll ... its a turnover and the Vampire leaves the pitch (just as if he had failed to pick up the ball after failing a Blood Lust roll.
