Elves and Rerolls

I seem to have encountered in a couple places statements made by Jervis and others that Elves get a free reroll to counteract the expense of their players. Yet, I don't see this in the LRB. Is this an actual rule? If so where is it located so I can reference it? Also, if it is how do I implement it with the Team Creator utility?

I can t really remember from when it comes, but i know that was the case by some times . This no longer apply as some of the rosters have changed . I still garantee elves are powerfull enough without that

Maybe it was in the old days, but it sure is not in the LRB nor was it in 3rd edition.

I read it most recently in the transcript of an IRC chat with a number of BB bigwigs, and it is spoken by jervis himself. The chat was dated 2001.

if i remember correctly, that was from the 4th ed that has been appologized for MANY times.

Maybe it has, but I haven't been able to find any of them... s'okay... just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something (and was looking for an edge with a High Elf team I have...
)

Mikey remembered correctly. The free re-rolls for some races is something out of the 4th edition rules. Those rules were withdrawn so we got back to 3rd edition rules. From there the rules review took things up and presented us LRB with the 2003 rules review.
So what you were reading is a bad chapter in the history of Blood Bowl.
