Can expelled Necromancer cast Raise Dead-spell?

I tried to search the answer, but couldn't find it. In my last game I fouled and referee didn't like it so my Necromancer stepped forth and argued the call. Too bad he was carried out with the fouling player. Later in the game I killed poor Wood Elf and thought that because my Necromancer is out he can't create a new Zombie for me.
Later I tried to find confirmation to this case and I couldn't find it. So can expelled Necromancer cast Raise Dead-spell?

The rule about necromancers being sent off and not casting raise dead was in the rulebook in the box in the background section. The LRB doesn't contain this section however none of the rule reviews od FAQ have stated that this rule no longer applies. Sorry this doesn't answer the question but I'm not sure what the answer is

A Coach that's been kicked out obviously can't do Coachy things in the game, same as you don't get his extra +1 to the Brilliant Coaching roll when he's been booted.

You get no +1 for brilliant coaching by your headcoach, only by assistant coaches.
From LRB p.19
Brilliant coaching: Each coach rolls one dice and add the number of assistent coaches to the score. Reroll any ties. The team with the highest scores gains a reroll for the remaining half...

In the LRB it says that a kicked out coach may not "argue a call with the ref " anymore nothing else stated.
So i guess since nothing else is listed ,yes you could raise him.

No you cant. Thats the risk the Necromancer takes when he argues the call. if he fails he's ejected and cant raise the player. The raise is suposed to be done at the time of death, not after the game, because the player can be added to your roster immediately.

I was under the impression he could RtD, even if he had been sent off.
The LRB doesn't say he can only do it if at pitch-side so, imo, he can (assume he casts it from the stands).

I would have to agree w/ McDeth on this one.
When a coach is ejected from a game, he isnt escorted to the stands to watch the rest of the match. AFAIK.(at least in american sports, but then i dont really watch or like any)

In the Netherlands when a coach is sent off during a soccer match he may still sit in the stadium to watch the match, only no longer in the dugout. The only question now is then: from how far can a necromancer start raising zombies...

AFAIK, and I've played endead for a bit here, an ejected Necromancer cannot raise dead if he has been ejected from the match. It was in the original rules, and to the best of my knowledhe has not been changed

I'm not sure what we'd play, but i'm fairly confidont that my commish would agree with me that he culdn't raise the dead during the game, but could at the end, after the match.
Sounds more then fair, they are out, so they don't get to instantly add a new player to the team, they have to wait till post match.

Nothing that applied to pre-LRB rules applies any more.
As the rules don't state they an ejected necromancer cannot cast spells I'd say they could (fluff - they are still hanging around the ground).

on the printed kick-off tables I've seen, the Head Coach also gives +1 to the roll. maybe that was a rules change, too?

That was on the 3rd ed table. It seems it was just a mistake to edit it out, and Galak is trying to get it added back in, but at the moment, no, you don't add +1 for the Head Coach.
