Freebooting Big Guys

Can I freeboot non-star player Big Guys who could normally play for my team?
e.g. if I were playing a Skaven team could I freeboot a 2nd rat ogre... or even a 3rd or 4th?

I'm pretty sure you cant, as you cant freeboot players who will take you over the maximum allowance in that position.
eg you cant freeboot a 5th blitzer if your allowed 4
or i could be completely wrong

nope, only players that are on the team roster. Big guys must be considered Allies in this respect

No.
You can only freeboot players that would "normally play for [your] team" (LRB, p 42). A fifth blitzer would not normally play for your team, and neither would a second big guy. (LRB, page 25).
However, star player Big Guys are not listed with the racial characteristic "Big Guy" -- therefore you can freeboot Headsplitter in addition to the one rat ogre that is on your roster.

Alright makes sense. I vaguely remmeber the stipulation that you cant freeboot excess position players, but cant find the specific rule reference...
