Hand off and pass in the same turn

I think I've got this right but I'd appreciate confirmation - is it ok to hand off the ball with one player and then throw it with the player that has been handed off too? I'm assuming that hand off does not count as a pass action. the only confirmation I can find of this was in an article dealing with throw team mate where a golblin picks up the ball, runs to goblin B who is next to an ogre/troll and then the troll/ogre uses the pass action to lob him upfield...

Am I doing this correctly?

There are six different types of action.

Move
Block

Blitz
Foul
Pass
Hand-off

The first two can be used multiple times, the last four once per team turn.

i thought a hand off counted as a pass action? DAMN that changes the game...
