How does FA affect a Blitz action?

I mean..if a players blitzes a UglygUy but rolls a "1", is the blitz wasted for the turn, like Wild Animal & co, or not?!?

Yes, it is wasted. The blitz action/movement comes to a halt and that player may do nothing else.

Edit: Are you sure Sean about still being able to move?

The roll does not happen until u r in base to base contact.

I mean, it seems that you argue that the Blitzer may still keep on moving after he lost his Block action. I think not, but then maybe I got you wrong...

Just read the lrb text, u should still be able to dodge away if u want. Does not say anything about stopping your action, just that u can not hit them.

the "block" is wasted, but you can still move away if you want.

The block still costs you a square even if you fail your foul app-roll.
