Don't understand a particular rule or just need to clarify something? This is the forum for you. With 2 of the BBRC members and the main LRB5/6 writer present at TFF, you're bound to get as good an answer as possible.
Fist of all, I have used the "Search" function but I'm still a bit confused about the correct use of "Multiple Block" under LRB4-rules. So here are some questions, maybe someone can help me:
1) Can Multiple Block still be used on a "Blitz"?
2) can one of my players assist, if he's only in one of the two opponents Tacklezone:
XDD
AMX
X = empty square
D = Defender
A = Assist
M = Multiple Blocker
not sure if you're allowed to MB on a blitz ..
B cannot assist .. he's in a TZ .. the strenght of both players in added to eachother but that doesn't make them one player.

but he isn't in a tackle zone of a player not being MB'd...
Like I said, I'm not sure, and I think there should be a really nice large section dedicated to clearing up MB in the LRB

Why are you not sure? There are no extra rules:
From ASSISTING A BLOCK in LRB4.0:
1. Must be adjacent to the enemy player involved in the block, and...
B is.
2. Must not be in the tackle zone of any other player from the opposing team, and ...
B is in the tacklezone of any other player from the opposing team.
Question is, do 2 players being multiple blocked, count as one player for the block. They do when adding up their strength, then why not when determining tackle zones?
I would like to see that spelled out in the LRB because the way it is written now leaves a lot of openings for discussion.
...but it is exactly because of this kind of stuff that I never use Multiple Block...
My Ogres refuse to roll doubles and stat increases (only 1 double in 12 skill rolls) so I'm running out of skills to take .
I think I'll give one Ogre Multiple Block for his second skill (he already has Guard) as I already have 4 Guarders and 3 Ogres with Break Tackle... Piling on is just ain't worth taking.

Multiple Block (Strength Skill)
The player is allowed to block two opposing players at the same time. The opposing players must be next to the player making the block and adjacent to each other. Their strengths are added together and both suffer the effects of the block equally. Both sides may use assists normally. Players in the tackle zones of both targets of a Multiple Block may not assist the blocking player unless they have Guard. In case of each opponent being pushed back, fully resolve the push back for one opponent before resolving the second opponent's push back.
Ehm, nothing about them counting as one player, and especially for Redfang it even states that you can't assist....

Ok, the way it works.
XXOO
XHHX
OTOX
O= Orc
T= Troll
H= Human
Troll wants to MB to 2 humans. Troll is Strength 5. Human Lino is ST3. Add the 2 togethere = 6. Oops, 2DB against the Troll. Aah, the Orc to the left of the troll assists, and the one on the right can't as he is in a tackle zone.
Troll plus 1 assist = 6. 1DB. Luckily, 2 other orcs arrive to help, but only 1 can, the one in the top right corner. That makes a total of ST7 (5+1+1) against ST6 (3+3). 2DB
Byeeeee humies!!!
