newb question about blocking.

Post by EllyrianOutrider »

alright from the rules i understand that you cant perform a regular block unless you start in a aquare adjacent to an enemy. the question is can you move after you throw a block. the reason i ask is that the people who taught me to play say that it just uses up a point of your movement then you have the rest of your movement to move. thatnks for the help.

Nope.

On a block action you can block, and follow up if you pushed your opponent back.
That's all.

On a blitz action (only 1 per turn) you can move before and/or after the block.

Cheers

your friends could use a re-read of the rules. you've never been allowed to move after a normal block, blitz only.

you may follow a block though. which is simply taking the square vacated by your opponent whom your player has knocked back.

This is not moving though...

one more, can you attempt an interception if any part of the ruler crosses the square of a enemy player or just if the red central line crosses. thanks again in advance?

Just to be sure, it's any part of the range ruler.
