newb question about blocking.

alright from the rules i understand that you cant perform a regular block unless you start in a aquare adjacent to an enemy. the question is can you move after you throw a block. the reason i ask is that the people who taught me to play say that it just uses up a point of your movement then you have the rest of your movement to move. thatnks for the help.

Nope.

On a block action you can block, and follow up if you pushed your opponent back.
That's all.

On a blitz action (only 1 per turn) you can move before and/or after the block.

your friends could use a re-read of the rules. you've never been allowed to move after a normal block, blitz only.

you may follow a block though. which is simply taking the square vacated by your opponent whom your player has knocked back.

This is not moving though...

thanks guys i realy appreciate the prompt answers.

one more, can you attempt an interception if any part of the ruler crosses the square of a enemy player or just if the red central line crosses. thanks again in advance?
