Amazons and big guys...

Post by Axtklinge »

A few days ago I was chating with some friends, and something came up that I've never realised (probably because I've never played Amazons):
Amazon teams are the only ones that dont have the chance to field players with St higher than 3 from the start (put aside star players, and eventual skill ST upgrades)!
Is this right, or am I missing something (like for instance them being considered a "human" team for big guys porpous... )?

Teams without access to players with ST higher than 4 (from the start):
Dark elf
High elf
Amazon
Dwarf
Elf

So Amazons are not the only team without access to big guys.
It is a more general thing.

Generally teams without access to Big guys don't need them and some with them work better without them like woodelves take out the treeman and they play much much better :smoking:

Am I meant to be scared?

Perhaps you should read the rules before you come in shooting your mouth off.
Ogres were removed from the Dwarf list in the 2003 Rues review - over 2 years ago.

Perhaps you should remove your wrath from your post, before I hit you with my Moderating Stick of Doom(TM).

Isn't that a morally dubious abuse of your executive powers?
