out of bounds - turnover

Maybe a silly and higly theoretical question.
We have team A with player A and a1, a2, a3, a4 and team B with player B and b1. Following situation:

|a3BA
|a4
|a5
|
What happens when A blocks B and it's a pushback? Then a2, a3 or a4 are pushed out of bounds. Is this a turnover? It is not (clearly) listed in the list of turnovers. It's not a: illegal procedure, a knock down (he is not on the ground), any kind of turnover caused by ballplaying, he is not ejected for a foul or a touchdown.
I would say it is a turnover because it's similar to a knochdown.

Not sure what the correct answer is but if you are stupid enough to push your own player off the pitch then it deserves to be

Hit that bastard with a2. push him and you can still hit him with A, a3, a4, or a5. Keep it going. Push him around till you get a knockdown.
Don't ever push your own players off the pitch. While we're at it, don't leave them on the sideline like that either or your opponent will send them crowd surfing.
I'm not so sure it's not a turnover. Someone from the moving team went down. Tom says it isn't but I'd rule it a turnover if it was in my league. I agree with Andrew.

A hyperthetical and very poor positional line up for 'A' what is he thinking of? I agree it could swing eitherway but would suggest the fallover is not a direct result of a fumble or face to face block so shouldn't affect the turn.
I agree with Snew though why would you block with 'A' when you can batter your way off the side line?

Based on on the fact that Stunties thrown into the Crowd are not turnovers ... and neither is a ball and chain player randomly moving off the pitch. So based on these two events ... I would rule that a player pushed into the crowd isn't a turnover ... but I admit ... its a grey area for sure. The fact is he wasn't Knocked Down ... which is the normal key trigger for a turnover.

i dont think he set hes team up like this!
good question though, got alot of heads scraching
i would of said not a turn over, player A didn't fail the dice on the block.

Based on on the fact that Stunties thrown into the Crowd are not turnovers ... and neither is a ball and chain player randomly moving off the pitch. So based on these two events ... I would rule that a player pushed into the crowd isn't a turnover ... but I admit ... its a grey area for sure. The fact is he wasn't Knocked Down ... which is the normal key trigger for a turnover.

Good points, i fully agree.
And yes, it is a very poor set-up, never seen it on the pitch. But strange things happen and as a league-comissioner i was asked and had to answer it.
