No. you can get all the skills available in the group that your player is allowed to choose from. Also you can only pick from the groups mentioned as doubles, if you throw a double.

So snotlings can take dauntless right away? crazy!

Not sure about the doubles thing you mentioned... probably cuz right now i am sick and its 20 minutes to 11pm.

Dauntless is changed to D6+ST instead of 2D6 in PBBL so it is less useful for snotlings than mummies.

And a Snotling would need doubles on the skill roll in order to get Dauntless (which I would never take on him because of the new rules for Dauntless).

Say you have a halfling.

He can get all agailty skills on a normal skill roll.

When he rolls he double he can can pick a skill from the group listed under doubles for the halfling, so General, Strengh and Passing skills, but not a phisical mutation, because that group is not listed! :wink:

oh for goodness sakes...
you know...things make much more sense when you can get a good night's sleep.... although still sick... my brain doesn't hurt anymore. Thanks for the info you guys. Everything is just so much more clear now...hehe.

Well, Sallacious, that's what you get for living in a place where it rains more often than in the average British town... :wink:

Getting back on topic, I've had some of my more experienced players express concerns that it might become too easy to get some skill combos without traits. Are these valid or are they without merit? Or somewhere in between the two? :-?
