Why strong arm is a trait and not accurate ?

With accurate you have got +1 even it's quick pass and not with strong arm.
Accurate seems to me better than Strong Arm, which is a trait.
Perhaps there are things that i don't know. So explain it to me.

Traits are meant to be abilities that are physical rather than learnt.

Because Strong arm is more fluffy a trait than accurate.

Accurate is the fact to do an aimed pass. So it is a skill
Strong Arm is the fact to have ........
...... abig arm like Hulk Hogan (for all my Us friends

). So it's not a skill but a body particularity

It could also be the skill of using good throwing technique which gives your arm better power. Similiar to the way I justify Mighty Blow being a skill. In real life, look at MLB pitchers compared to MLB sluggers. Pitchers tend to have less raw strength, but can throw the ball faster than the sluggers could if they tried to pitch because of their technique. I figure Mighty Blow works the same way: It's not just the player being stronger, it's having the skill to put more force behind your blow, without actually being physically stronger (otherwise he'd be +1 Strength.

).
Anyway, that has nothing to do with the argument, that's more of an aside...

However Accurate seems better than Strong Arm and easier to gain.

So that accurate+strong arm combo would be harder to achieve?

Yes, but it wouldn't make sense! Strong arm is a trait because it's something you either have or you don't, you can't learn it. It fits the definition of a trait perfectly, whereas accurate doesn't. Why do you want to change it anyway? It's perfect the way it is.

Trambi, the difference between a trait and a skill is not because one is better than an other. Not every body can be well built with an overpowered arm. But Accurate can be learn. That is the way it is.
-yep, accurate is better than Strong arm, cos it can be used under tackle zone and for quickpass.

You can learn to throw strengthly the ball and accurately aswell the ball. The rules must balance the game so if Accurate is better than Strong Arm, so Accurate should be harder to get than Strong Arm.

ok, but BB players are 'professional' players.
Joe Montana used to throw the ball at a distance Max, not over. but some thrower could throw to a longer distance. And they cant teach this...

Quite right LS, Montana never had an arm like Elway...
