throwing a bomb

I thought the bombthrowing rules in pbbl were a but unclear, it says that you can´t intercept a bomb if it is thrown straight at you, but does that mean that you can´t try to catch it? And if not, what modifiers are used when catching an accurately thrown bomb?

It means that if a bomb lands in a square occupied by a player, you have to make a Catch roll, not an Interception roll.
If the bomb is accurate, I think that you a make a Catch roll with the standard +1 modifier.

Are you sure you get a +1 modifier? I mean, when throwing a bomb you´re throwing it AT the opposing player and not TO him, hoping to knock him down, so it seems odd that he could catch it as easily as a thrown pass.

It is stated that when you throw a bomb you use the same rules for throwing the ball, so I think that you have the +1 modifier.
But I agree with you that it's quite strange.
