Apothecaries work on Vampires under PBBL?

Post by Nathaniel »

On page 17 under the Apothecary heading, it no longer has the sentence stating that Apothecaries on Vampire teams may be used only on thralls and not on vampires.

Your thoughts on this? It looks like under the latest PBBL rules, Vamp teams can have normal apothecaies as there is now nothing that says otherwise.

Remember, I'm talking PBBL here. I'm a bit out of the loop on the recent versions of bloodbowl. I'm talking about the rulebook available here:

I'm not talking LRB. I am refering to the latest PBBL rules above.

PBBL is trying to simplify the rules:
Either all players on a team can use the apothecary or none no exception.
So vampires may indeed use an apothecary in PBBL.

Personally i think this is not a problem.

Just a question to go along with this,
is the apoth used before the regen roll
or has that changed?

You're right.

Thats what I figured, as long as that doesn't change I don't see any problem with the Vamps using apothecaries.
Must be better educated apoths to be able to work on the living and the undead. :D
