2 Questions...

1) I was a little confused and still am about agility rolls and what not. Now on the LRB it states:

Look up the player's agility on the agility table to find the score required to successfully pick up the ball. Roll a D6, and add or subtract any of the modifiers that apply to the roll. A roll of 1 before modification always fails and a roll of 6 before mod. always succeeds.

I just need a little bit of clarification to it. Lets say a thrower tries to pass and he has 4 AG, and there are enough players in his tackle zone for his AG to not even matter, and a 6 is rolled. does a roll of 6 complete the pass no matter how many players are in the tackle zone? because at one point i was playing that way, and I am pretty sure I misinterpreted the rules.

2) Are big guys no longer able to remove neg. skills/traits on Star Player rolls? The LRB doesnt say anything about that.

Sorry if these are dumb questions or they were asked before. thanks

Well, the pass is not necessarily COMPLETE, because it hasn't been caught yet. It is however ACCURATE. No matter what. No matter if he's a mummy, making a long bomb in 5 tackle zones etc etc.

Nope, nothing can be done. They have them forever.

No problem. The place would get boring if nobody asked any questions. As Mr. Garrison says, there are no stupid questions, just stupid people. Whether that makes you feel better or not, I leave to you. 8)

ok thanks..... why did they make it so difficult saying "before modification"? it almost sounds as if they are implying that modification makes a natural 6 worthless.

Where the rule of natural 6 apply the most times is at interceptions.
Without this no AG2 player would ever be able to intercept the ball since interceptions happens with a -2 modifier.

And the rule of natural 1 is more important to stop an AG5 elf from automaticly succede when picking up the ball and dodging.

but i mean shouldnt tackle zones work when dodging? if an AG 6 elf tries to dodge out of a tackle zone and runs into like 5 or 6 or more tackle zones..... whats the use of putting all that work into stopping him if all he has to do is roll a 6? the -1 modifiers for dodging into all those tackle zones don't count if he rolls a natural 6???

they should count in any category actually.... whats the use of the minus modifiers if you get enough upgrades and skills it makes minus modifiers useless, no? i mean besides rolling a 1 obviously.

You'll have players clambering over each other to play you if you're happy rolling 6+ as part of you game tactics. The point is, yes he could possibly roll a 6, but you woudl have to be very desperate to actually consider doing so.
