Fungus the loon

Post by Rev »

Hi

were new to BB and have a query.

if fungus the loon plays, does he sent off right away if he moves?

the rules for special weapons and ball and chain make it sounds like it.

can anyone clarify for us?

thanks!

Which rules?

LRB 4.0 - at the end of each drive where Fungus took to the pitch (even if he was removed), roll against the Penalty Roll (8+). If the 2D6 roll is equal to or more than the Penalty Roll, then Fungus is Sent Off (which can be Argued). (LRB 4 p.29-33)

LRB 5 - If a player with the Secret Weapon skill takes to the field, they are automatically Sent Off at the end of the drive. (LRB 5 p.30)

Not sure what you're reading to think he's sent off when he moves. :?:

The confusion might be that a drive is not a turn.

Reading my sig was by about three seconds of total waste of time.

there also used to be rules giving a chance for poor fungus' heart to explode after each move, right? could he be thinking of that?

Bonehead has hit our confusion on the head.

we use lrb5/pbbl1.2 (same thing?)

we read the rules as, 'at the end of the drive he has participated in he gets sent of' but interpreted drive as turn.

i gather from your replies, he can stay on from a kick off until touchdown or halftime?

Yes, the drive is over when you clear the pitch for another kickoff.
