Picking up a scattering ball

Sure this has been asked before and I'm sure I have the answer...but...

A player with the ball drops it/gets tackled and it scatters into a square with another player. There are no opposing tackle zones on him. Does he get +1 to the pick up attempt or not?

Nope, and it's a Catch roll, not a pick-up.

(Pick up a stationary ball, so Sure Hands can be used,
Catch a bouncing ball, so Catch can be used.)

Hi Mocaiv. Loooonnngggg time no see. Glad to see you drop in.

Darkson's got it right. A bouncing ball is a catch and it's +0. You can use the Catch skill though if you have it.
